Hazmat or non-hazmat, boxes are very versatile objects. Whether you need to ship hazardous waste or simply need to store important documents in a central location, boxes are lightweight and easy to handle.

We offer custom hazmat and non-hazmat boxes. In a world where there is always a newer, cheaper option, branding is essential. Your corporate logo can help differentiate your brand from others.

Logos

By customizing corrugated boxes and delivery containers you use and branding them with your logo, you can make a statement and separate yourself from companies that rely on bland packaging.

Once your logo is on it, it will immediately be recognized by your customers and will become a marketing tool you can leverage in a variety of ways.

Types Available

We offer you a variety of hazmat and non-hazmat boxes to meet all your needs including:

  • The Regular Slotted, a standard corrugated box with flaps that meet in the middle.

  • The Full Overlap offers you a corrugated box with fully overlapping flaps that provide extra strength at the top and bottom.

  • The One-Piece Folder is a five-panel wrap that is ideal for flat products such as mirrors or pictures.

  • Our Die Cut Carton, cut from plain sheets of corrugated material on a die cutter.

Hazmat Compliance

When you ship hazardous material, the burden is on the shipper to ensure all labeling and containers comply with the various regulations, laws and international requirements.

The boxes must meet United Nations (UN) standards before you can air or sea freight cargo abroad. The type of hazardous material you ship will determine the sort of container required.

For example, you must use biological Substance Medical Packaging products for solids or fluids that require Class 6.2 packing instructions for air, sea and land shipment. There are bottles and biohazard pouches manufactured to meet these requirements.

Labeling

You must have the correct hazmat stickers or labels on the outside of your container that clearly indicate the dangers associated with the contents.

It is the responsibility of the shipper to place the appropriate labels on the package, so handlers can recognize what class of hazardous materials the package contains.

Our DOT pressure-sensitive labels and our placards conform to all U.S. Department of Transportation and International Maritime Organization (IMO) requirements for hazardous material shipments.

Our peel-off heavyweight coated paper uses UV-resistant ink and tends not to fade even in sunny climates. These come in rolls of up to 500 single labels.

Packaging Material

You have a lot of choices for packing material depending on the product, requirements and preferences. We have Styrofoam peanuts, poly bags, bubble wrap and more.

Depending on the item, and if it is hazardous, you might need pain-can ring locks and security clips.

Vermiculite for Hazardous Liquids

If you ship hazardous liquids, you may want to consider using vermiculite. This naturally occurring group of substances, called hydrated laminar minerals, resembles mica. After processing, its chemical properties make it ideal for shipping many hazardous liquids. It is non-flammable, completely inert and does not emit fumes or odors.

We carry extra-coarse, non-dusty Grade 4A vermiculite, the highest grade sold anywhere. Smaller granule sizes are also available.

All our vermiculite is asbestos-free.

Gel Packs

Use gel packs to control the temperature of your products inside your custom boxes. We carry 16-oz., 32-oz. and 48-oz. refrigerant gel packs. These are a great alternative to dry ice or chemical coolants, especially if you are worried about contamination.
