Shipping Policy 

We strive to ship out items the same day or within 24 hours from when the order is placed. ITEMS in stock usually ship within 24-72 business hours from when the order is placed. Unless on back order, too large, or heavy, to ship via UPS, Fed-Ex, USPS. For more information on your order please contact us 1-(866)272-9880. Buyer is responsible for all freight expenses, unless otherwise specified upon written agreed conditions. Specifications, prices and delivery are subject to change without notice.

Shipping charges are calculated based on the actual weight, distance traveled and type of shipping service you specify (ground, second day, next day). 

All shipments are F.O.B. shipping point. Shipping method is determined by the size and weight of each item. Items of differing size and weight may ship independently, by different methods, even if ordered together. Most items will be sent UPS. Items that are too large or too heavy will be sent by truck. Someone must be present to accept truck deliveries. Standard truck delivery is to a dock facility designed to receive freight. Twenty-four hour notification, residential deliveries, lift gate, or inside deliveries are available for an additional charge.

Unless otherwise stated, freight and shipping fees will be charged for shipments to anywhere in the contiguous United States, using a carrier of our choice.  Other terms apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and export orders.  Any extra charges incurred for additional services, such as customer's carrier or special handling by the carrier, must be paid by the consignee.  Items backordered from an order qualifying for prepaid shipping charges will be shipped prepaid.  Title and risk of loss pass to the customer upon tender of shipment to the carrier.
 

Collect Shipments

We will gladly ship via your specified carrier however; we will not ship with certain carriers due to poor experience.

 

UPS Dimensional Weight

Determine the package dimensions in inches. Multiply the package length by the width by the height (LxWxH). For each dimension, measure at the longest point, rounding each measurement to the nearest whole number. The result is the cubic size in inches.


For domestic shipments:


UPS Air Services shipments: Divide the cubic size in inches by 166 to determine dimensional weight in pounds. Increase any fraction to the next whole pound.


UPS Ground shipments: If the cubic size of the package in inches is 5,184 or larger, divide the cubic size by 166 to determine dimensional weight in pounds:

                  Example: If Package (A) is: 18" x 18" x 18" = 5832


                  Divide cubic size (L x W x H) by 166:  5832 / 166 = 35.13 - Billable weight is 36 lbs,
                  regardless of actual product weight.

 

RETURNS

 


Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with a product, contact us within 30 days of receipt. A refund will be arranged excluding freight charges upon inspection. Returned merchandise must be shipped in original packaging, freight prepaid, unused, and in resalable condition and are subject to 20% restocking fee. BEFORE returning product, please call 1-(866)272-9880 for a Return Merchandise Authorization. Air Sea Containers inspects all returns and reserves the right to refuse credits on damaged, misused or non-resalable items.

Please have the following information on hand when calling: 

  • Company name (if applicable)
  • Customer name
  • Invoice number
  • Reason for return

Your only obligation is the freight charge and restocking fee where applicable, provided your return is complete with original packaging, all documentation, Air Sea Containers reserves the right to authorize product returns after 30 days have passed from the invoice date. If the product is accepted after this period, it is subject to a 20% restocking fee and credit will be issued toward future purchase only. Air Sea Containers will not accept any returns or exchanges on purchased books and NEW drums of any kind. All sales of these items are final.
 

Shipping and Handling

For all returns, shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for shipping charges on the returned merchandise and should ship the product using a method that allows the package to be traced. The shipment should also be insured for your protection.


 

Limitations of Liability

In no event shall Air Sea Containers or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates be liable for indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of use, loss of data, loss of business or profits. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
